Laptop screen cleaner: £2,500 and £4,000?
A new laptop screen cleaning service has started in London and will cost around £2.5,000 and £5,400, according to one expert.
The new cleaning service, called The Laundry Room, promises to be cheaper than traditional screen cleaner services.
“The Laundress Room will be the most affordable cleaning service in the UK to clean laptops, tablets and mobile phones, with the highest quality, highest quality ingredients, and the lowest cost,” the company says.
“We will be providing free hand wash, soap and hot water to all our clients and the service is designed to last anywhere from a few hours to a few days.”
There are currently around 400 screens cleaning companies in the US and the UK, and The Lydell has been working with some of the biggest names in the industry to bring its service to the UK.
The company’s co-founder, Peter Gee, told The Independent that The Ledders cleaning service would be “the first of its kind” in the world.
“We believe that it is the future of technology in the home, and we are excited to be bringing it to London,” he said.
“Laundry rooms in London have been around for a long time, so we thought we’d bring a modern, innovative and friendly service to London.”
A website called lydellcleaning.co.uk explains that The Cleaning Room’s cleaners will be using a variety of products, including water, shampoo, vinegar and soap, as well as detergent, lye and water.
“Our goal is to provide our clients with a truly unique experience that will help them to have a cleaner home, without compromising on quality,” it adds.
The service’s website has been updated recently to feature a new product that is advertised as a “cleaner” but which has not been verified by The Luddite.
According to The Ludwigs website, The Cleaners Cleaning Kit has a range of cleaning products, from cleaning tablets and laptops to cleaning and disinfecting toilets.
The Cleaning room’s cleaning service is being run by Lydells company.
