Samsung’s new iPad mini, 8.7-inch tablet: Pros and cons
By Steve MillerUpdated Feb 08, 2018 07:07:00Samsung has announced a new iPad Mini with an 8.6-inch screen enclosure that can be used for gaming, while its successor is expected to have a bigger screen.
The 8.5-inch iPad Mini is available in black and silver and it comes in at $499.99.
Its sibling, the 8.8-inch, is priced at $599.99 and the 8-inch and 8.9-inch models will retail for $799.99 each.
The iPad mini 8.0 has a 4.5 GHz processor and 64 GB of RAM and is powered by the same 5th-generation Intel Core i5 processor found in the 9.7 and 10.5 models.
The new model is also packing a 64 GB flash storage option, a 3,000mAh battery and an 8-megapixel rear camera.
The battery has a capacity of 3,400mAh, and the new model also has a 1.3 GHz dual-core CPU and 2 GB of GDDR5 RAM.
The new iPad model is not expected to be sold in the US or Europe.
Its price tag has not been announced.
In a blog post, Samsung said that the new iPad models “will include new features and functionality that are compatible with the Apple iPad.”
The blog post did not specify what these features and features would be.
The latest version of the iPad is known as the iPad Mini.
It was introduced last year with a smaller screen, a thinner profile, and an Apple-designed keyboard that has been found on the iPad Air and the iPad mini 4.
Apple has yet to make any announcements regarding the new tablet.
